    Cloud Saves Offline and not syncing


    Hey gamers. I tried starting up a Xbox 360 game I downloaded from the game pass yesterday. I played it before and had saved memory. When I got to the part about cloud storage it would not sync. It says:

    "Sorry, your cloud saved games can't sync right now. Try again later, or play without your cloud saves.

    Status code: 0x80070428"

    To be honest I'm a little confused how the saved data works on this system. I tried another Xbox 360 game and it appears that my saved game is gone. However, my saved games with other Xbox 360 games and Xbox One games have not been affected. Also, on some
    games when the cloud storage prompt comes up it shows offline under the cloud title. Is there a fix for this or some way to get my memory off the cloud and onto my system?

    Pins are in the cloud.

    I imagine it is saved in your account on the cloud and synced like your save files. Meaning, it will work offline and synced when online. Just guessing.

    Fatal System Flaw!!

    The only reason you lost all your saves when you went offline is because you are no longer syncing with the Xbox cloud where those saves are stored, once you get back online and connected to internet your Xbox will update its self with the march update and
    you will be syncing with the cloud again thus having your saved data that was saved on cloud.

    Thank you. I'm on Xbox One. I'm not sure if that makes a difference. It just says that when it can't be synced it means there's an issue with Xbox Live but other games are working. I'm about to just delete the game honestly. But I still dont understand the
    offline thing. According to that article if it says offline you arent the owner of the saves. But those saves are from me. They are mine.

    It's working now. I didnt do anything. I think Xbox servers must've been down or something because its working 100% now. Thanks for the help!

    Hey there Slid8r.

    You should be able to save while offline, but once you connect your saves will be synced with the cloud. There isn't a way to move your saves from the cloud to your console, although when you save it should be available to play offline.
