Cloud Saves for Shadow of War?

Discus and support Cloud Saves for Shadow of War? in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; I am needing to re-image my computer and before I jumped the gun I wanted to make sure my save files for SoW are still gonna be there when I reinstall....     Cloud Saves for Shadow of War?


    I am needing to re-image my computer and before I jumped the gun I wanted to make sure my save files for SoW are still gonna be there when I reinstall. Does anyone know if this game saves to the cloud similar to Xbox games or do I need to locate where the
    save files are stored and back them up personally? Thanks in advance.

    After error E102 - Xbox One X won't sync cloud saves to account

    Hi guys,

    HELP!

    I was playing Shadow of War and it glitched. It took me back to home screen upon which I restored the Xbox. After that I got an error E102. Then I reset the Xbox to factory settings. After I set it back up - my cloud saves would not sync up when I opened
    Shadow of War. I have no locally saved file cause Xbox told me to delete it and I have gone through all the troubleshooting with Microsoft to no avail.

    Anyone else had issues with cloud saves bot syncing?

    HELP!

    Will there ever be a way to back up saves besides the cloud?(IE: To a flash drive/external HDD)

    While I think the cloud is great, I would still like a way to back up my saves and personally have a copy just in case something happens to my cloud save/local save. A good example is the fact that a lot of the Killer Instinct game updates keep wiping out
    peoples save files/unlocks which is a major problem for some, especially those who defeated Shadow Jago in Arcade to unlock his stage. This could be prevented if I could back up my save, similar to how you can on the previous consoles... will we ever see this
    come to fruition? If not can we get some sort of prompt to ask us whether or not it is okay to overwrite our cloud save OR a way to chose from cloud save files managed by MS... this would be amazing and save a lot of people from a headache when they realize
    their save data has been overwritten/is corrupt and they cannot do anything about it because he/she didn't have any backup aside from the cloud save which was overwritten by the corrupted save.

    Yes play anywhere titles on Windows 10 such as this should synch up through your xbox live account and save its data in the cloud, that way in the event you want the data to transfer over to your Xbox one, or vice versa, you can. This system can in rare
    cases act up but its pretty fail safe.

    I contacted support from WBGames and in the reply got "We recommend reaching out to Microsoft as you are playing the Windows Store version of Shadow of War to see if you are able to access any saved data that could be stored in the cloud. "

    Though cloud saves are listed under the games capabilities, I can't find any options to manually use it or turn it on through the game or the Xbox beta app. Am I just looking in the wrong place or is there not actually cloud saves for it?

    Hey Shadow, Your console is just going into the low power state which allows a cool down and if you are using the cloud then it is updating your cloud saved data since all data that is to be stored on the cloud is locally stored on your xbox until you shut
    it down, in which it uploads the data/save game files to the cloud.. There is no need to worry about this..
