    hi. I loaded a game which asked if i wanted to load the save from the drive or cloud. I chose drive and have lost my progress. Am I able to retrieve the data or did i overwrite it?

    Cloud Re-Recovery Question

    The cloud saves stay the same no matter where you access them from. You can create a cloud save file for Skyrim, play it at a friend's house, then go back home and resume where you left off at your friend's house.

    and say you get back from a friends (still havent had the chance to test it) after playing a saved game from the cloud... would you need to re-copy the most recent cloud data onto your hdd once again? and would it automatically overwrite the previous data,
    or is it needed to be deleted manually?--or is there no overwriting involved? will the data conflict?--what??

    Probably the save data in the cloud is overwritten.

    Sorry.

    Only thing to try is to delete your local save file (in my games and apps), reboot the game and when the system asks wich save to load, select cloud save.

    If you're lucky, you get your old save back.

    Hello J0hnny4, if you have already restarted, have already removed your account, and put it back, restarted the console and even then your last save did not appear, unfortunately it will not be possible to recover it.
