Cloud gaming suddenly stopped working- How can I get it working again?

Hello,

A few days ago I tried booting a game up with cloud gaming on my xbox series S and got an error message. It didn't try to buffer or load, just immediately kicked me. I tried opening the game a few more times and each time got kicked in the same way. It gives me the error message "Failed to start cloud gaming session. Unable to communicate with servers. Please try again."

I've used cloud gaming extensively for quite awhile now with no issues. So it is strange that it suddenly is no longer working.

Things I have tried:

-Testing Internet speeds- I have 5G internet with a minimum of 150 mbps for each test.

-Power cycling my xbox

-Opening cloud gaming on my mobile device (It won't let me open any games)

-Trying on a hotspot instead of my home wifi

-Ensuring I have Xbox Live Ultimate still

-Clearing local saved games

-Trying with different games (all give the same error)

-Trying on different days at different times

-Using Google's gaming DNS instead of auto

If there's any other way to troubleshoot or anything else I can try, I'm open to any suggestions.

EDIT:

After trying repeatedly, I eventually did get a game to load on my mobile phone. Somehow this reset the cloud gaming on my xbox and allowed me to load in again.

Thanks again - the Xbox is completely connected to the TV and was working fine - it just suddenly stopped working.

Let's try a quick power cycle with your Xbox One. To power cycle, hold down the power button for 8-10 seconds until it powers off. Once you start your Xbox One back up, give Risk another go. Let us know the results

The old Xbox gives lots of game discs a bad ring around the center. It's just a problem with the xbox, and usually installing the game is the solution so maybe you could pick up a $15 16 gb usb?

Hey, the most common issue with incidents like this is your laser isn't picking up the disc. I recently owned the original white Xbox aswell and my laser just have out. You can most likely get this fixed by someone in your local area but it could be pricey!
I recommend buying a new Xbox.
