Yeah, completely offline. Can't even earn achievements anymore, it's been that long since I went online.

Sly Jon, I have called Microsoft before and those were the steps given and a Google search will show that activision recommends the method I said, here is what it says.

Unlike Xbox 360, the Xbox One does not have a menu option to clear cache on the console. Instead, follow these steps to clear cache on an Xbox One:

Press and hold the power button on the front of the console until it powers down completely.

Unplug the power cable from the back of the console so that the power brick in not connected to the console.

Press the power button on the console three or four times. This will ensure that any remaining power in the battery is drained, clearing the cache on the console.

Plug the power cable back into the console.

Wait for the light on the power brick to change from white to orange.

Turn on the console using the power button

To the OP, try to delete the game and reinstall it, your saves will be in the cloud if you play connected to Xbox live. I had the same issue as you and resetting the cache worked for me, I read somewhere if that doesn't work then reinstall is the next step.

mrGREEK360, all the steps you suggested are correct except for

"press the power button on the consoles 3-4 times to discharge the systems power and reset the cache."

I highly recommend to NOT do this step above as you are essentially trying to power the console without enough to fully boot it up. The charge remaining in the power brick will drain after around 20-30 seconds as is completely normal. Trying to boot your
console off the remaining charge may cause unwanted problems and may even render your console unusable
