  1. Cloud gaming page loads fully, then immediately depopulates and will not load or search games.


    When I load the cloud gaming page on my device, initially all of the sections of the service load, showing all of the games I have played recently and all of the recommended and all games section populate with games. After a few seconds all of the sections depopulate and show no games. Additionally nothing ever appears if I try to search for a game. I know my connection is not an issue because if I am quick enough when the page first loads, I can select a game and it will begin running just fine. After closing the game, the page is as I’ve stated earlier in this post, nothing appears and nothing will ever load when I search or select one of the headings. I think something may be wrong with my account in general, as I’ve encountered the same issue running games I have downloaded through game pass on my PC using the Xbox app. Nothing loads or populates. I’ve attempted clearing cookies and chache and nothing has changed.

    It appears that you are experiencing issue on cloud gaming at the same time loading games using the Xbox app. Let us help you get to the bottom of this.

    It is possible that there is a temporary problem with the cloud gaming server or some hidden factors affecting the issue. Let us perform some troubleshooting to get this fix. Here are the steps we can perform.

    1. Check Xbox server status if there is an ongoing service interruption through this link: Xbox Status | Xbox Support If there is an ongoing server issue wait until the service is up and running.

    2. Try cloud gaming using a browser. Go to https://xbox.com/play Let us know if seeing the same problem. You may also try using your mobile devices for cloud gaming to see if the issue is happening only on Xbox app.

    For issues on loading game through Xbox game pass library, is this happening to all games or specific games only? For the meantime, we can perform the additional troubleshooting steps below:
    Make sure Windows is up to date.

    • Press the Start button on the taskbar, type settings, and then select Settings.
    • On Windows 10, select Update & Security. On Windows 11, select Windows Update.
    • On the Windows Update page, select Check for updates to see if any updates are available
    including optional updates for your device.

    • Once the updates have downloaded, select Install now to start the installation.
    • Following installation, we recommend that you restart your device so that the latest updates can take effect.
    Make sure Xbox app is up to date.

    • Press the Start button on the taskbar, type store, and open the Microsoft Store app.
    • Select Library.
    • Under Updates & downloads, check if there is any updates available for the Xbox app. If an update is available, select Update.
    Make sure you are signed in to the Xbox app and the Store with the same account.

    • > To make sure your permissions for the game can be validated, be sure to sign in to both the Store and the Xbox app using the same account that was used to purchase the game.
    Uninstall and reinstall Gaming Services

    • Select the Search icon on the taskbar, type powershell, right-click on Windows PowerShell, and then select Run as administrator.
    • In Windows PowerShell, type the following command and press Enter:
      get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-AppxPackage -allusers
    • In the same window, type the following command and press Enter:
      start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9MWPM2CQNLHN
    • Install the app on that page and select Yes when you receive the User Account Control (UAC) prompt.
    • Restart your device and try to install the game again.
