cloud Gaming on iOS cannot be set to any language but English

Developers set the language for the region. Supported languages are listed before you purchase the game. If English is not listed then it cannot be set for English. If English is listed there should be an option in the game to set the language.

As having language and locale separated is an often requested feature you may want to vote and discuss on this feature at

as Microsoft collects feedback and suggestions on future improvements there.

Sorry to say but right now cloud gaming uses your IP - physical location and set the language to the main of that country (and is not possible to change that without moving to another country where English is the main language)

This means that for games that doesn't supports in-game language setup uses this main language as default :c

Best rule of thumb is you usually have to go by the language of the region of your account

Every disk has a set amount of languages and rare are choosable languages if it says English it will be english it would be harder to find a english copy in an non english region however unlezs you get it from an importer

Certain games cannot be imported though usually due to usk bans depends on the game and yes it is an jailable offence to import gamez that are banned in germany

I have a solution for you if you dont have one yet. I found this on reddit from user aerobeing :

I tried and it works, switching my language to French ( France ) instead of the setting i had worked.

An update must've caused this. I've been using English/Swedish as display language since booting up my PC with zero issues but cloud gaming just stopped working around December and it's been war in our household since so I thank you sincerely for this simple yet Nobel price worthy solution.
