Cloud gaming on Elder Scrolls Online

I am hoping that online only games are using cloud. (Elder scrolls online, titanfall,) it would be nice if halo used online.

Good news, Zenimax Online Studio has found the problem. Bad news is Elder Scrolls Online will be removed from MS Cloud Gaming for a while to fix it.

We are aware of frequent player disconnects leading to a suboptimal experience while playing The Elder Scrolls Online with Xbox Cloud Gaming. The Xbox Cloud Gaming team have identified a fix which we expect to take a few months to implement. While this work is in progress, The Elder Scrolls Online will be temporarily unavailable on Xbox Cloud Gaming. This change goes into effect starting on Friday, February 11, 2022 at 12 p.m. PST/3 p.m. EST/8 p.m. GMT. You may still enjoy The Elder Scrolls Online and access your existing Xbox ESO account by downloading the game to an Xbox console.

We will update this thread when we have more information to share. For any questions, please contact Xbox Customer Support at support.xbox.com.

Unfortunately both were off already and I’ve even tried it on my pc which is hardwired to the internet with a LAN cable as well. It just seems that the connection with ESO is the worst for cloud gaming for some reason and I have gigabit internet.

You can try changing some of the advanced settings on your phone, if available. These settings are typically found on Android under > Connections > Wi-Fi (actual settings path may vary). Your network connection reliability may be improved if you go to the Advanced section of your network settings and toggle the following settings to the Off position.

• Detect suspicious networks
  
• Wi-Fi power savings mode

Also, If you're on a Wi-Fi network, make sure you're on a 5 Ghz network, not 2.4 Ghz (you may see interference on a 2.4 GHz network). If you have a dual-band router, you may need to enable or separate the 5GHz signal, then make sure your devices are all connected to this same signal. If you’re not sure how to do this, check your device manufacturer’s support site or contact your ISP.

You may as well try to clear the app cache the restart your device as well as your router. Go to Settings > Apps, select the Xbox Game Pass app, then select Storage > Clear cache.
