Cloud gaming joystick an D-pad not working

Hi Eli Q! I hope you are well, delighted to be able to offer you my help!

A community member had this same problem a couple of years ago, and his suggested solution is as follows.

Settings > Accessibility > Magnification. I had this on. When I turned it off, the analog and d-pad started working.

Note: I assume it's anything that remaps buttons or adds shortcuts to hardware buttons. Turn them off.

My phone and controller are both updated and still my d pad and joysticks are not working. What can I do?

Another nearby toggle lets you set the joystick to act as a D-pad, left analog stick, or right analog stick, which can come in quite handy depending on the game you're playing.

The toggle you mentioned is not working. That is the problem I am facing at the moment. The Xbox only recognizes the joystick as D-Pad, whatever the toggle is set to (DP, LS, RS).

No joystick but the base standard control pad will work with the cloud

You need to buy a Series console or play on PC if you wish to use this stick

Oh wow so step number 7, i cant use the joystick it has to be the d-pad?
