    I have been a loyal Xbox supporter and subscriber since the 360 era, owning every console you have made since then, as well as a ROG Ally X. However, recent changes to Game Pass have genuinely made me lose faith in the brand.

    Until recently, I subscribed to Ultimate because it provided incredible value, but with the removal of local streaming and the introduction of these new cloud tiers, it simply isn't the same. You can imagine my shock when I read that Xbox is introducing a 15-hour monthly cap to an already expensive top-tier subscription.

    For context, 15 hours per month isn't even enough to complete a mid-sized AA or AAA game. If the cap were 100 hours—like GeForce Now offers—I would understand. Fifteen hours, however, remarkably reduces the value of Ultimate. I strongly suggest expanding the monthly Cloud limit to 100 hours, as that should be the standard.

    Compounding this is the incredibly frustrating decision to force users onto the cloud instead of maintaining support for direct, in-home streaming to my console—a core feature I relied on heavily. Local network streaming should still be available, and it should absolutely be excluded from the cloud hours tier, as it streams directly from my own hardware, not your servers.

    Because of these changes, I have now downgraded my subscription from Ultimate to Core. I refuse to spend my money on what I feel is a massive step backwards for the platform. As a lifelong fan, I hope you seriously reconsider both the restrictive 15-hour cloud limit and the removal of local streaming.

    I agree Kiddeth. Microsoft worked with devs and publishers to make sure that wouldnt happen. Now we dont know what restictions we will have and online passes are a garuntee to be back. Plus now devs have no bonus for using the cloud and can make same
    crappy games they make now. No persistent worlds and such. Plus no family share is a huge factor in my purchasing decision

    Yes, the option to play on cloud cannot be seen when the game is already installed. It is a very interesting topic that you have brought out. It seems this how it goes currently but we can provide feedback so the option to play on cloud for installed games should still have the button option to play on cloud without going to the Xbox Game Pass library and search the game available to play on cloud.

    If you're in a family group and you're still a minor, the organizer account or the adult is the one that can remove you from the group.

    I would like to clarify, what are you trying to access or perform when the age restriction occurs?

    Thank you so much for the detailed information. First, kindly sign in to https://account.microsoft.com/family/home then check if there is an organizer linked to yours, once confirmed that there is none, it can be the Xbox app so please perform the steps below:

    Settings > Apps & Features > Apps > Search "Xbox" > Advanced Options > Repair & Reset.
