    Cloud Gaming: Fable 2 unusually bad input lag


    Fable 2 (Xbox 360 game) has excessively bad input lag when playing via Cloud Gaming. I tried a few other games and had no problem with them. It's particularly noticeable when doing time-sensitive things like using poses to impress crowds. Running around is a bit nauseating as I'm constantly over-correcting when turning.

    Games which have no/low input lag via Cloud Gaming for me:

    • Fable 3 (Xbox 360 game)
    • Banjo Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts (Xbox 360 game)
    • State of Decay 2 (PC game)
    More info:

    • Device: high-end gaming PC running Windows 10
    • Input: Xbox360 wireless controller (which has no lag in native PC games nor the above 3 games via Cloud Gaming)
    • Network: 1Gbps wired ethernet
    • Internet: 1.2Gbps down / 40 Mbps up (xfinity cable), Seattle area
    • I'm the only person on my network -- no other downloads or streaming happening simultaneously
    • Reproduced using Xbox Windows app
    • Reproduced using xbox.com/play via Edge (Insiders)
    • Reproduced on a few different days at different times of day
    • Reproduced immediately before and after the 3 above mentioned working games
    • I tried to fire up my old Xbox 360 to compare with original Fable 2, but sadly its DVD drive is now dead
    Is something misconfigured on Microsoft's end specifically for Fable 2?
