Cloud gaming and Starfield xbox S

Hi there. I have an Xbox One S and Game Pass Ultimate but it says Starfield is not compatible. I thought I can still play it through the Cloud Gaming service but it doesn't seem to be working.

Like i said,it will only run on the current gen consoles,the Series X/S.

The older gen consoles don't have the hardware to run Starfield.

The Xbox One X is a last gen console.Skyrim works as it was made for the Xbox 360 & upgraded to run on Xbox One consoles.

If you want to play Starfield the4n you'll either need to buy a Xbox Series X or S or play it via the cloud if you can.

It's been known that Starfield will only play on current gen consoles for quite a while.

2. If the above let's try to clear the cache on your Xbox Series S, you can follow these steps:

a. Make sure the console is turned off. You can do this by pressing the power button on the front of the console and holding it for a few seconds until it turns off completely.
b. Disconnect the power cable from the back of the console. If you are using an Xbox Series S All-Digital Edition, you will also need to disconnect the power cable from the external power source.
c. Wait at least 10 seconds to allow the residual energy to completely dissipate.
d. Reconnect the power cable to the console and, if you have an Xbox Series S All-Digital Edition, also reconnect the power cable to the external power source.
e. Turn on the console normally by pressing the power button..

3. Check your network connection: While you mentioned that your network settings are good, it's worth double-checking your network connection to ensure there are no issues. Make sure your Xbox One S is connected to the internet and that your network is functioning properly. You can also try connecting your console directly to the router via an Ethernet cable to see if that resolves the syncing problem.

4. If none of the above steps work, you can consider performing a factory reset on your Xbox One S. Keep in mind that this will erase all data and settings on the console, so consider backing up any important information before proceeding. To perform a factory reset, go to "Settings" > "System" > "Console info" > "Reset console" > "Reset and remove everything". Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process.

This moderator is clearly copying and pasting old data from the Xbox One days. This troubleshoot doesn’t work on Xbox Series X or S consoles.

“Cloud saved games” isn’t an option anymore.

I can’t find how to force a cloud sync. I can’t play Starfield on my other console in another room because the data won’t sync.

What’s the point of cloud saving if it doesn’t actually save???

We understand that you are trying to play the Starfield Premium Edition in Xbox Cloud Gaming Beta to use the Old Mars DLC and Constellation DLC packs. Upon checking the list of available games in Xbox Cloud Gaming Beta, we can only see the base game to be available - Play Starfield | Xbox Cloud Gaming (Beta) on  Xbox.com.
