    Hi,

    Can anyone assist with the below

    Updated my Forza Horison 5 on my Xbox 1. Logged into the game and I was connected my Xbox live and had internet. Game brought up a synchronization option for local storage or cloud storage, I couldn't remeber if my data was saved on local storage or cloud storage, but I thought it was on my local file so I selected local and then it started a new game and all my old data no longer there.

    I tried deleting local data hoping it would go back to cloud data. Needless to say it did not.

    Is there any way to recover my old data that was on the cloud?

    Greetings,

    Well the plot thickens... got an update for Fusion last night and after this was applied upon starting the game was presented with a choice to either use the local save data or the cloud data (this was the first time I was asked to choose), I selected the
    local data as it was newer than the data in the cloud.

    So this issue seems to be resolved.

    Unfortunaely, it sounds like the hard drive might have died. It happens. Hard drives die. Hopefully your save data was uploaded to the cloud for future recovery.

    Hey there.

    Sorry to hear that you have lost your save of your game. there is a few things we could try to help get it back.

    1. Try a hard reset of the xbox.(By holding the xbox button in untill it beeps 2 times then let go and then reload your game) on loading it should re sync your cloud save.

    2. Try removing and installing the game and once done and loaded it sync your data they saved in the cloud.
