    Closing and reopening xbox app causes freeze


    When using the xbox app on windows 10 to stream my xbox one to my PC, if I close the app and reopen and connect to my xbox, all my controllers cannot connect/reconnect.

    I'm forced to shut off my xbox and turn it back on.

    I've had this issue with both a wired controller connected to my PC and a wireless controller connected directly to my xbox one.

    I've only started having this issue recently,

    It is also recommended to keep your Windows 10 device and the Xbox app up-to-date. Refer to the following links for the steps:


    After installing the updates, disconnect the Xbox controllers, and then restart both of the Xbox One console and the Windows 10 computer. Reconnect the controllers and check if you'll encounter the same issue.

    Im signed in fine. But is anyone having issues with it freezing after like a min every time. And then the app becomes mad slow! I force close it. Reopen etc. Then it freezes mid game or mid video playback or mid redzone channel... over and over again. And
    its not my internet. Trust me.

    This worked first try. Download Spybot's AntiBeacon software, keep everything default. Close Xbox PC app, run AntiBeacon, reopen Xbox app, profit.
