Close Xbox account and profile delete from Microsoft account

You will need to delete your whole Microsoft Account. Because your Xbox Profile is just linked to your Microsoft Account and there is no option to just unlink it, you will need to delete the entire Microsoft Account itself to delete your Xbox Account.

a xbox live account can not be deleted from your Microsoft Account, you can only move it to another Microsoft Account (and if needed Close that Microsoft Account).

If you simply deleted the profile from the console, just re-download the profile. Try these steps:

If you just want to delete your Xbox profile from the console, please do the steps below using your console to remove the profile.

Press the Xbox button  to open the guide.

Select Profile & system, then Settings.

Select Account > Remove accounts.

Select a profile to remove, then select Remove.
