Clips recorded in 4k on external have no audio.

PS4 can record clips up to 1 hour without a external. And can have the option to include your audio along with peers. Then export it with a USB onto your computer and edit. Xbox can only record up to a max 10 minutes internally. That's why if you can add
a external - USB 3.0 recording up to 1 hour is awesome. But it lacks the audio option?

My clips do not have audio. I just recorded three clips, none of them have audio in titanfall.

Now that's just salt in the wound, haha. And yeah I'm getting the same error you and others were getting.

4k/60p HDR or SDR, "record what happened" option records a 22-second corrupted clip that is only 8-10MB and plays only the first second or two of video/audio. In VLC, the audio still plays for the remainder of the clip duration. This is the case whether
recording external or internal, with plenty of hard drive space and after many hard resets. Trying to begin the recording manually also doesn't work properly: with external storage any clip still comes out to 22 seconds even if I was recording for 10 seconds
or a minute, and with internal storage it never even records a clip at all even though it shows the timer and that it's recording.

1080p SDR works perfectly fine, but it looks like **** because of the different codec and lower bitrate. 30fps is also the limit which sucks for the game I'm trying to record, and the system's built-in HDR to SDR conversion in the recording looks really,
really bad.

When this issue first started cropping up in my recordings, I could actually pinpoint when corruption started occurring. Some clips would record the whole 29-30 seconds as usual, but there were dropped frames and visual artifacts. Then it would work fine,
and finally just completely stopped working properly with the above error happening every time.

It's all so strange.

The Dashboard Preview team is aware of problem(s) with Game DVR 4K recordings not working properly and have implemented the 1080P recording as a workaround so that one at least gets a clip instead of nothing or an unusable 2 second clip. We'll have to
wait and see if they continue to investigate and resolve the issue with 4K clips in future.
