Clips for Fortnite on Game Bar and in trhe folder just FREEZE

Hi i need help i'm an avid fortnite player and when im in creative with my friend and hit nice shots i normally click windows+G and then click the clip button, it does come up with a notification saying clip recorded however when i go into captures and
play the clip its just me standing there with the real audio playing so i cant see what im actually doing? I have updated all my Drivers and the game bar app. This has only started after i installed the recent xbox app update? If that has anything to do with
it?

Do we have an estimated time of a fix or is it just waiting for an update to come around?

Hi there sadly its a known issue with next to no work around at the moment. The only thing I can think that might help a bit is testing your download/upload speeds and if need be restart your router. Apart from that need to wait for the next patch/update.

Same problem. I can clip other games, but Fortnite only capturing a still not video. Audi is there, a still capture, but no video. I've repaired and reset game bar, still doesn't work.

I am not sure if this exclusive to a select amount of PCs yet if you click the Windows icon + G then it will bring up the XBOX Game Bar where you can message friends, access games and record clips. Clips recorded using this method will be sent to a section on the Bar for viewing and will also be in the folders. Yet this way of recording does not work for all games, and probably only works for games owned by Microsoft/ games accessible on XBOX

1. Close the Xbox Game Bar completely and clear its cache. To do this, press Windows Key + R, type "%appdata%" (without quotes), and press Enter. Locate the "Microsoft" folder, open it, and delete the "Xbox Game Bar" folder. Restart your computer and check if the issue persists.

2. Make sure that the default save location for your game clips is set correctly. Open the Xbox app on your PC, go to Settings > Captures, and ensure that the "Record game clips, screenshots, and broadcast using Game bar" option is enabled. Also, check the "Save captures" option and verify the location where your clips are being saved.

3. If the issue continues, you can try reinstalling the Xbox Game Bar. Press Windows Key + I to open the Settings app, go to Apps > Apps & features, search for "Xbox Game Bar," click on it, and select "Uninstall." Afterward, restart your computer, open the Microsoft Store, search for "Xbox Game Bar," and reinstall it from there.

4. Verify the settings in File Explorer to ensure that it displays the correct content. Open File Explorer, go to the "View" tab, click on "Options," and then select "Change folder and search options." In the "View" tab of the Folder Options window, make sure that the "Show hidden files, folders, and drives" option is selected. Apply the changes and check if you can access your clips from the Xbox Game Bar.
