    Clicking on Tahoma Preview Icon Results in Halo Infinite Trying to Play


    Recently I Installed the preview of MSG Game Studio's Tacoma followed immediately by downloading the Halo Infinite demo. After the downloads completed the Tacoma Icon (a primitive picture of a mountain) showed up in my games list, but no Halo Icon. Now, when I click the Tacoma Icon, the Middle-School level artwork of the mountain shows up for a few seconds with a spinning load progress wheel but then a Halo Infinite load screen shows up along with the typical Halo chanting choir music. After a few moments of that and pressing "A" when requested I get a message that my console is not authorized to play Infinate. I've uninstalled and reinstalled Tahoma. I can't uninstall Infinite because it never displayed an Icon. I've sent problem reports on this issue to the Xbox team but has been typical for the 6+ years I've been doing this with absolutely no compensation, all I hear back is deafening silence. Can any of my fellow Insiders help? Has anyone installed Tahoma successfully? Do you think that Tahoma and Infinite got corrupted or tangled together because I downloaded them one after the other?

    Halo Infinite insider code 0x87e50031

    On a console my Xbox one s I try to play the co-op insider but it keeps giving me the code for some reason I’ve done mostly everything to get it to work I’ve had the halo Infinite Insider from the multiplayer preview I’ve uninstalled the insider hub and the halo Infinite preview but I can’t find it and the halo Infinite insider keeps giving me the same code each time each time hopefully that made sense to you.

    Whilst playing Halo Infinite I've noticed that there's a muted icon next to my player even when the headset is attached. Maybe this has something to do with it 🤔

    Halo Infinite Will not launch

    Hi, all. I had the same issue and even tried to install on my OS drive. After some attempts, including Christopher's helpful suggestions, I tried the following:

    -Use the Windows Search bar to search for the Halo Infinite App. Just type in H A L O

    -Over to the right of the Halo Infinite App icon, click App settings

    -Perform a repair and reset of the Halo Infinite app.

    Unable to open Halo Infinite

    This was the solution for me:

    • Press the ‘Windows Key’ + ‘I’ simultaneously on your keyboard
    • Select the ‘Apps’ section from the menu selection
    • Find Halo Infinite in the application list
    • Left-click Halo Infinite to reveal ‘Advanced options’
    • Find the ‘Reset’ button and left-click it
    • Open the Xbox app and ‘reinstall’ Halo Infinite

    Thank you for reaching out to us about your issue!

    Are you trying to download Halo Infinite on Steam or through the Xbox app?

    If it's the Xbox app, can you verify that your Xbox app and Gaming services are up to date?

    Open the Xbox App

    • Click your profile icon at the top right corner of the page
    • Select "Settings"
    • Select "About" on the left panel
    The first set of numbers under "Version" will display the current version of your Xbox App.

    Current versions:

    Xbox App: 2112.1001.10.0

    Gaming Services: 3.60.12001.0

    Also, is "Halo Infinite (Campaign)" giving you trouble or is it "Halo Infinite" (Multiplayer)? Have you tried downloading any other games?
