Clear as mud?

Discus and support Clear as mud? in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; Have an game card as a gift that's labeled XBOX 360 and a box on the card that says it "Plays On XBOX ONE."     Clear as mud?


    Have an game card as a gift that's labeled XBOX 360 and a box on the card that says it "Plays On XBOX ONE." Doesn't say anywhere it does not play on 360, so when I tried to load it to my 360 no joy. It does show in my account as an Xbox One pending download.
    What gives with that labeling? Why bother to put Xbox 360 on anything that doesn't run on Xbox 360? Can't find anything on the card that says it will not run on 360. Can I exchange the game for the 360 version, please?

    Clear QAM

    I am a college student who lives in an apartment. My entire cable package is analog/Clear QAM however they do not provide us with a cable box meaning no guide or dvr. I would really like to know if there will be an update to support this in the near future
    because I would love to be able to integrate it to my Xbox One entertainment system for the benefit of my whole apartment.

    What game is this? I've never heard of this before.

    Where did you redeem the code? Xbox 360 or Xbox One?

    Hello,

    If it says 'works on' then it is originally a 360 game. Sadly the 360 can still have a delay for games to appear.

    I would suggest you go to you Download History on the 360 console, select the game and re-download it. Settings Page > Account > Download History

    If you own both consoles (360 & One) it may have chosen to send it to the newer console. Hopefully this will fix the issue.

    It's Fallout 3. Top left of card packaging says "XBOX 360" "XBOX 360 GAME FOR DOWNLOAD FROM XBOX LIVE" and bottom right says "Plays On XBOX ONE" Back of card has instructions for loading on Xbox One and in bottom left says "XBOX ONE" Nothing to indicate
    it wouldn't work on 360, but apparently that's a given. Kinda like if a package said "Vanilla" in big letters in some places and "Chocolate" in big letters in some others you would know what's in it.

    Thanks for the replies. I'll try to contact the company in other places. If anything major comes up I'll update.

    ellerem is correct that you should go to the download history. I would expect that the reason you are seeing both consoles listed is because Fallout 3 is an Xbox 360 game that is Backward Compatible to play on the Xbox One. The game should play on both consoles
    (on the Xbox One it should play via the 360 emulator.
