    Classic / Retro Games that are compatible with Xbox 360


    I recently laid my hands on a copy of the original Xbox Capcom Classics Collection as I hoped to introduce my children to the games I used to play as a boy in the 80's - however, was disappointed to find that it was one of the few original games that wasn't
    compatible with the 360.

    I was wondering if anyone knew of, or could recommend any retro games that were Xbox 360 compatible? Anything that gets really old Capcom, Taito Sega or other retro arcade machine manufacturer's - games like Outrun / Afterburner / Space Harrier / Ghoul's
    & Ghosts / 1942 / Golden Axe etc etc - you know the old ones....

    Add New Backwards Compatible Games

    Hello everybody,

    is there any way that the list of backwards compatible XBOX Classic games will grow in the future?

    If so, can can we suggest games which should be compatible with XBOX One?

    I just did some research about the compatibility about the xbox classic game "Whiplash"

    and unfortunatley this game is not compatible neither with XBOX ONE nor XBOX 360.

    I believe you should focus on games which were not compatible with XBOX 360 yet because these titles need to stay alive for our generation and the next generation. Those are actually some video game history.

    Goldeneye Reloaded Coming to 360 on NOV 1st!!!

    They really must make that one (From Russia With Love) playable for the 360 (retro compatible). Besides from being perhaps THE best Bond game, it is Sean Connery's swansong as OO7. Connery, now 81, doesn't even do ANY movies anymore, let alone James Bond,
    but he stars as the role that he made famous in the early 1960's in this timeless forgotten XBOX classic...Classic / Retro Games that are compatible with Xbox 360 :)

    The Xbox Original Games will only work on Xbox One, because the Xbox 360 is not retro compatible.

    Backwards compatibility is available on the 360. You can find a list of backwards compatible games for the 360 here
