clarification on content transfers

Hi,

Just went through the FAQs but want some clarification to see if I understand this well.

Recently, I gave away my Xbox360 to my cousin. Including all the games that I bought in the recent years. No worries about that, he can install and play them. However I also bought content on-line, full games (Games-with-Gold) and different add-ons (cars,
maps, unlocks etc).

Can I transfer these on-line items to his console and let him have those benefits for the gmes he already got from me ?

Content liscense transfers.

Is there any possible way to see ALL of your downloads when you try to transfer liscenses? This is frustrating because the specific content I want to have the liscense transferred for won't appear. Also, after I do transfer the liscenses it shows, the list
dosn't change at all. It only lets me transfer the first set, nothing else. What the hell?

Content liscense transfers.

When to perform a license transfer, it will transfer every license your account has to the new console.

Can you describe to me what you are experiencing with your content?

You cannot give, trade or sell your gamertag but so long as the content was originally downloaded to that console your cousin should be able to play the content without your gamertag logged in with no issues.

thanks for the reply. Just for me, to be clear on this.

I wiped the console clean before I gave it away. So what I should do, is add my own Gamertag/account again on that console and then download all the content that I would like to make available? Any content that is downloaded under my account is available
to other people as well.

Does it matter that games are installed under one account (my cousins) and that additional content is downloaded under another (mine) ?

Guess I should just give it a try

If you've license transferred to your new console then you won't be able to do that for your cousin. A license transfer can be done only once per 3 month period and even with family members you should be wary about sharing out login info.

[/quote]Little clarification here; If you console was repaired by Microsoft, there is no need to utilize the License Transfer, as the repair center should have already reassociated said content.

I just don't want to see users wasting a License Transfer if there is no need. :O)

So if I finally went to update my security proofs that I have been hassled with daily, then I have to wait 30 days to change my email? I'm trying to change it to my new work account now that we have windows phones..
