City Skylines 2 ultimate edition not installing on pc from xbox app

Having the same issue, and adding to say I have attempted a reinstall, making sure to install the ultimate edition of the game. I can see that the add-on has installed, but is not available in game.

I have game pass if this is relevant, as I believe it may be forcing me into the gamepass version of the game, rather than the version I have purchased.

I've seen on the paradox forums that this is a known bug, and as of tuesday 24th:

"We are aware of this issue and are working to resolve it as quickly as we can" was posted by the official account.

I'm sorry to hear that you have this problem with City Skylines 2 ultimate edition on your PC. It is not very common for this problem to occur. My recommendation is that you verify that your Windows is completely updated. The second thing is to restart your PC and try again.

The game is available on Game Pass Ultimate and game pass for PC, so It can be downloaded on both platforms; Xbox console and Windows PC. However the game has two editions ; one for

Xbox, and another for Windows 10

Which means, since you were playing on PC, you must have the Windows edition and therefore those addons or DLC will work only on PC.
