Cineplex app dropped ultraviolet and no replacement app yet, where is CinemaNow?

The Cineplex app in Canada dropped Ultraviolet a while ago;

"Effective Sept 1, 2016 the Cineplex Store will no longer be offering UltraViolet services."

per CINEPLEX STORE - DIGITAL RENT & BUY – Cineplex

And it had an extremely limited offering in the first place.

This left XBOX One without an UV provider in Canada. So I can no longer watch digital copies I purchase with XBOX One.

This link shows CinemaNow is supposed to be an available app, but I can not find it on my apps list on my XBOX One. It was available o 360 and had more content.

This is very disappointing for a device that is supposedly intended as an entertainment hub.

When will UV content be made available again?

Cineplex store app in Canada

Hi,

I have both an xbox one (original version) and a cineplex store account but I cannot find the cineplex store app on my xbox one. I have gone to the app store, I have spelled out cineplex in search, I have spelled out cineplex store and every other iteration
I can think of but the app just doesn't seem to exist. I have called Cineplex and they say the app exists for xbox one. I have called microsoft and they say it exists so why can I not find it???

Does anyone in Canada have this app working on their xbox one? IF so where or how did you find it??

Can I get Microsoft to load it on my console for me? Been trying to find this app for literally 2 years...

All movies in Cinemanow show "play unavailable"

Man was working fine just started two days ago but just downloaded vudu app and all ultraviolet movies showed up but this also happening on my cinemanow now app on my ipad

Unfortunately we are unable to speculate the availability on content availability for 3rd party apps, or why certain features don't exist in 3rd party apps. The best next step to take will be to reach out to the developers of the apps in question for further
information and feedback.

The CinemaNow app currently is only available in the US & UK, and currently is not available in Canada. Thank you so much for bringing that to our attention!
