    I have the white Xbox One (about 3 years old) and over the last 5-7 months I have had constant audio issues when I use headsets. Ive tried 5 new wireless controllers, 3 different wired headsets, and now one turtle beach stealth 600 headset and the audio when im in party chats and games gets so choppy and cuts out constantly. Without a headset no issues at all with my audio coming through my speakers. But no matter which headset or controller, wired or wireless headset, it still cuts out. Ive tried sitting closer to my xbox and this doesnt help either. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Why is it that when I stream from my Xbox One directly to twitch, I always have choppy audio?

    I do not have access to another controller, but changing headset did nothing. The audio was still choppy.

    That is not the issue. It has nothing to do with the headset or controller for game output audio on stream. We need help with choppy game audio. It may be for copyright reasons but still, other people on PC make it work fine.

    Yesterday (12/1/2021), I experienced extremely choppy audio in Warzone. Thinking this may be a wireless issue, I unplugged the XBox Wireless Adapter and used the USB-C port for audio (USB-C to USB-C). Guess what? I still had choppy audio on the Xbox Wireless headset! I switched to an older 3.5 mm headphone, and the audio was fine.

    I think switching to a wired headset is a good idea at this point, as the Scruffy Fuzzy said above.

    Hopefully I can offer some help. Can you not hear any audio through the headset at all? And have you checked the volume control on the headset?

    thanks for the advice, and the audio icon is never there, regardless of headset or not.
