Child seeking permission for game

Hi

When my childs seeks permission to play a specific game out of their content restrictions. When they 'ask now' for permission. The profile or email address that comes up for 'choose who will give permission' is an old email address of mine. When i log into xbox account via PC with that old email address it brings up a xbox profile that i am not aware of or using or attached to my xbox console. Since it does not show up on my xbox console i cannot delete it via the xbox.

I have tried to remove it via PC from my microsoft account but the options to remove does not come up as per microsoft's instructions. I have a different email address and xbox account that I actually use and on my xbox console.

Can you please help me remove the old/random account so that i can give my child permisson to play.

To open the Start menu, which contains all of your apps, settings, and files, you can do the following: At the far left or center of the taskbar, select the Start icon. Note: Taskbar settings determine where the taskbar is located.

Select Start > Settings > Accounts > Family & Other Users. Under Other Users, select the submenu for the account you want to remove. Next to Account & Data, select Remove. Note that this will not delete the person's Microsoft account, it will just remove the sign-in information from the computer.

Hey there,

The type of account is determined by the age/birthdate associated with the account. You can't just "upgrade" the account. The family member in charge of setting up the child account would need to allow special permissions for whatever you may be seeking
to do on the child account.
