    Child Player is getting harrassed by another player and repeated suspensions


    My 8-year-old child is being ganged up on in chat by another older player. This player is making a game of reporting him for absolutely nothing, and then taunting him afterward in the chat. These reports are resulting in repeated suspensions. I have reviewed the reports and there is no explanation provided of why my child is continually banned. I appealed the latest suspension and explained what has been going on, but the email I received was just a canned denial with a generic explanation. On top of that, my child received ANOTHER suspension immediately after the denial was received and he hasn't even been playing during that time. Even if he had been, he wouldn't have had access to interact with other players due to the suspension that was already in place. There is no way to get ahold of customer service and the virtual "assistance" basically acts as a gatekeeper, preventing you from speaking to anyone. It even says something to the effect of 'they can't provide any more help, bye!" What in the world? How do I get this ban lifted and prevent this from happening again (beyond never purchasing Game Pass again, which I don't think I will be doing anyway.

    Thoughts on banning

    There are some very good reasons to ban people on a platform. I keep my communications set to friends only becuase I get so many spam messages and people harrassing me just for fun. The Enforcement Team does take it serious when a player is reported. Talk
    with your child about the rules of Xbox Live and teach them ways to remove themselves from these situations. Such as limiting who they can communicate with, teach them how to block a player and report a player if needed.

    If you're friends are being harrassed, they should file a complaint, mute, and block communications with this person. Here is a link with more instructions and information on that:

    If they do not do this then they are probably going to keep getting harrassed for a while. It takes time for the Enforcement Team to look through complaints, so everyone has to take the necessary steps to avoid harrassing players.

    How about a player harrassing you on several accounts and when you complain its been a month of harrassment to xbox support they tell you to stop playing the game?
