Child Online Game setting in Privacy and Security - Child cannot join Online Minecraft World.

Hi

I purchased Minecraft yesterday for my XBOX One. I also created an on-line world for my boys to play in. They are 7 and 8 and are setup as family members with teen settings.

They however cannot join the online world I created. They are currently playing as me and my wife because the adult settings allow this.

I have gone through the privacy and security settings for them and I can see nothing that would prevent them from joining me in an online world or even creating one.

Any pointers to which setting I am obviously missing?

I also recently purchased minecraft for xbox one. My niece and nephew cannot join it either. They are 8 and 7.

privacy and online safety settings online. Are you playing the game on a Xbox One? Is your account a child account? If your account is a child account, you will need to have the parent account adjust the account's security settings. The article we provided

Do you know if your brother that cannot join your world (and you cannot join his) has its privacy settings to allow him to do so?

To change his Microsoft/Xbox account privacy settings, ask him to sign in to the privacy & online safety page:

https://account.xbox.com/settings

Set all the settings to "Allow" or "Everyone" on the three tabs:
Privacy;
Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One & Windows 10 Online Security;
Xbox 360 Online Security;

Note: If your brother is on a child account, he’ll need an adult in your family to sign in to their Microsoft account to change his privacy settings:
