Child not showing up in Manage Permissions For Children

If setting up an account for your children, you could try setting up a Child's Account. It gives you various permissions and parental controls for your children, where you want to limit what they are able to do on the Xbox.

They can have email addresses. Go to Outlook.com which there you will create the email addresses for your children. You will enter their correct dates of births and as part of the process of signing up, the system will recognize that they are children
and will ask you go give or deny your child permission to Microsoft online services.

Microsoft recently issued a mandatory system update that requires a parent to give a child permission to sign on to Xbox Live. The reason for this is because Microsoft has to adhere to the law of COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act). The charge
of .50 is for parental verification and there for permission for the child to be online. The .50 charge is donated to The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. There was also a mandatory update for UK users as well that has changed the way billing
is handled on the system.

Kids not showing up under family settings was a known issue that we believe to be resolved now. Can you check and see if you're able to manage your child's permissions from the family menu now?

Apologies for the confusion, we were referring to adult content restrictions. Content restrictions are usually managed through the adult account managing the child account. We recommend checking all the settings and purchase exceptions that you've set for
your children. Be sure to check out the
guide we have on granting exceptions for an account. Hopefully we can get your children these avatar items they're wanting.

I went through all of the settings. I can give them access to play games beyond their level of permission, change ability to view different videos and content, but, while they can now SEE the avatars in the store (by giving them purchase permission) the6
are not able to purchase.
