    Child gamer tag does not appear in my family session


    Hi,

    My son tried to invite some friends but an error message appeared about the rules of confidentiality. Impossible to connect, change your options of restriction.

    When I connect with my profil, the gamertag of my son does not appear although the link between his account and mine.

    I cannot manage my childs xbox privacy settings. My childs microsoft account is member of my Family (on the Microsoft Account page), but his gamingtag does not appear in manage privacy settings on account.xbox.com - please help

    My suggestion is to try any email your son or you could have used to make the parent account. If you are unable to find it out. If not your only hope would be phone support or chat support to see if they can find it out. If not you might have to create a

    Thanks for the quick reply.

    He actually has a child account, but his 'gamer tag' is associated with my account. From what I have researched, you cannot move a gamer tag to a child account on an Xbox One. If that is not correct, any references to how to do it would be greatly appreciated.
    If it matters, and I know it does for Xbox 360, I have an Office 365 subscription on my MS account. On a 360, that prevents moving gamer tags.

    Yes. When I goto privacy settings only my gamer tag is shown and not the child one.

    For the name issue the name is set but the chat form does not populate.

    Same issue here, there is a working Microsoft family account my son uses on a daily base.

    Trying to change the privay and online setting for that account via the xbox-live portal is not possible.

    reason: the child acccount gamer tag doesn't show up

    any further "how-to" advice is meaningless as there is no account entry to chose from

    How to bring that child account from microsoft family portal to the xbox portal?
