Go to the Get back into your account page and enter the Microsoft account email address for the account you’re trying to recover.

Note If you don't know your Microsoft account email address, you’ll need that information before you can reset your account password. To find a forgotten Microsoft account email address, see the Lost

1. In the second text box, type the characters displayed on the screen. This is to verify that you aren’t a robot.
2. Next, tell us where you’d like us to send a security code. Enter the full email or phone number. If you use the Authenticator app, a code can also be sent there.

If you can use one of these options, click YES at the bottom of this page once you receive your security code. Otherwise, continue to the next section.

What to do if you can’t use any of the password reset options

You can still access your Microsoft account by completing an online account recovery form. Go to Recover your Microsoft account.

1. In the Contact email address text box, enter a current email address where we can contact you or send your password reset link.
2. In the third text box, type the characters displayed on the screen. This is to verify that you aren’t a robot.
3. To help maintain the security of your Microsoft account, you’ll be prompted for several pieces of identification information that you provided when you initially set up your account. Fill in as many of the boxes as you can

I have, I spent 3 hours on the phone to support the other night and we have gone through just about everything that could cause it to mess up lolz the only alternative we can think is that allthough my acount is registered as an dult acount the server is
still seeing it as a child acount and kicking me out.

hello, i understand there are problems with signing into child acounts on xbox live, i am not a child and would wish to change my account to an adult one , how do i do this?
