Child Accounts cannot access Minecraft Multiplayer

I am attempting to allow my children to play Realms with their friends from multiple tablets via Minecraft PE. I set up new outlook.com accounts to allow each of them a different profile, making them child accounts to my Microsoft account.

I have attempted to do multiple things to get their accounts to allow the access, and below is a screen shot of their permissions on the "Xbox Live / Windows 10" section.

After setting up these accounts, I have tried to do everything including resetting the tablets, signing in and out of the account in Minecraft, etc.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi there sorry to hear you are having issues. I know this may sound like a dumb question but did you pay to use realms? As if you didnt they wont get access as its a paid thing. If you have the only thing I can suggest is removing the accounts from
the account and then re adding them. Apart from that the only other things would be restarting the device(s) which you said you done already, and uninstalling the game and then reinstalling it. I hope this helps and I hope you are safe and well.

Not a dumb question, because I did not know that to play on other people's realms they had to have the subscription.

According to this link, they don't need to pay for Realms to play on a realm.

EDIT2: If you are reading this question, you need to know the answer was in the link I posted. Apparently the intuitive answer of "allow account to join multiplayer games" is not the only access they need. They also need to have the "Join club" option
allowed as well.

They have access to the realm I was working to gain access to, so ... win?

Dear Microsoft the problem with Minecraft W10 described above happens even for adult accounts. Of course I've tried also with child account with required permissions. The same happens in both cases. So it's not related to child's account settings if adult
account cannot connect to the multiplayer servers. Please do something with it.

I'm having this exact same issue trying to get my child access to minecraft multiplayer. Has this ever been fix?

I was wondering if that prompt will show if you have allowed your child to send a request. Have you tried selecting the request approval button? Then, checked your email regarding the request?
