Child account - no email inbox?

Ok so each child has a hotmail email address? Were these emails set up and made through hotmail? can they recieve emails there?? When you setup the xbox and created usernames/ gamertags did you make them using each childs individual email adress???

Sorry to hear you are having a issue. To promote the child account to a adult account please follow the steps at:

support.xbox.com/.../promote-child-account

If the account has a alternate email address on file you should be able to receive a code at the inbox of it.

Can you try to re-associate the child account to the parent account? To do so:

1. Sign in to your Microsoft account and select the
   Family tab.
2. Select Add a child.
3. Enter the email address of the child account that you want to re-associate with the parent account. This will send an invitation to the child account’s email address.
   
4. Sign out of your Microsoft account and sign in to the child account.
   
   Note For security reasons, you may be asked to verify the account.
5. Select the button labeled Sign in and accept.
   
   Note Email can be found by selecting View inbox.

Hi, the issue could be that you have a child account and that child account is having problems loading family member profiles. The following may fix that.

Re-associate the child account to the parent account. To do so:

Hi, is your account a child account that has been part of a family on Xbox and you have removed yourself or been removed from that family. If so you'll need to add your account back to the family in order to sign in.
