It is possible that you're trying to login the child account using the parent device or computer. To properly isolate this issue, we'd like to ask some questions:

• Are you trying to log into the child account using the child's device or computer?
• Have you tried removing the child account from the family account and add it again?
• Have you tried logging in the child account to other computer to check if the credentials are correct?

Yes you can. You need to log in as the parent that currently has control over the account. From there you can remove the child from the family. Once this has been completed the Childs account will be required to be attached to another parent account before
they can do anything.

I'm not sure but it may do this the instant the child account is removed from the parent account, or the next time the child logs in.

OK, so you are on a Child Account and you are trying to make these changes while logged into the Parent Account, is that correct? Or are you still logged into the Child Account, but simply inputting the Parent Account info when asked? Try logging in entirely

Also, if there are no gold accounts on either Xbox, they may not be able to play online. If there's one gold account and one of the xbox ones is set as a home console, there is a way to share gold on two consoles at once.

First, log out of the gold account on the home console, and allow child account number one to log in there. That account will be able to log into and access online multiplayer so that the kids can play together due to the shared gold feature of a home console.
Then, on the second xbox one, log into both the gold account and the second child account. Then use the second child account to log into the game. You should be able to use gold in that way on that console as long as the gold account is logged in.

The adult account is and the child account is XIII Whipwreck.

The child account does not appear under the Family while logged into the adult account, but I can see listed as the adult account for XIII Whipwreck while logged in as the child account.

There's some sort of bug where I cannot change the settings and it has restricted buying DLC on the child account. I have no issues on the Xbox 360 with buying off the marketplace, only
