Child Account - Install games?

Hi

I recently bought my son an xbox to use at his home ( we live apart).

I set his console up so that he is a child user under my main account.

That way i can keep tabs on what he is doing etc.

Quick question: As i am not there all the time to help him - does a child user have the rights to install games? He has just bought the wwe 2k18 game, and it says it was requiring a password.

I am assuming this is because the game is rated as 16. So i upped the content level from 12 to 16 ( i see no reason why this game is rated so high).

Will that allow him to install the game and download the DLC that came with it, without intervention from me?

How to install XBOX anywhere game on PC using family acount

I can't install ReCore Xbox Play Anywhere on my childs computer using my childs login.

My child account is setup as a family account on my profile, an ReCore is bought using my account (The parent account).

When I find the game in "Store", logging in with my childs account on the PC, it wont let me install on the PC, but want me to buy the game again.

How can I install the game so my chilld can play the game?

As long as they can actually play Mature rated games online on this console then i'm happy.

Digital game licenses are associated to the Microsoft account used to purchase the game. To download and install the game on the child account, you'll need to sign in to the Windows 10 PC using the child's profile, and then sign in to the Windows Store app using the parent account. Here are the steps:

On the Windows 10 PC, sign in using the child's account, and then launch Windows Store.

At the upper part beside the Search box, click the account picture.

Click the profile, and then click Sign out.

Click again the user icon next to the search box, and then click Sign in.

Select Microsoft account.

Enter the email address and password of the parent account.

Click Sign in.

Install the game.

After installing the game, restart the device so that the changes can take effect. Sign in using the child's profile on Windows 10. Access the game and see if it works.

Once a digital game is purchased, it is associated with that account. You can delete it off the console but it will stay in your ready to install section. Is the account set up as a child account?

So definitely nothing to do with the fact his Microsoft account and Gamepass Etc is set up as a child account? It’s only that the Gamer ID was linked to a child EA account?

He should still be able to install and play EA games using his MS login and Gamepass?

I didn't mean that the one on the Microsoft store was a Child account, but that you could install games for adults if you have an adult account on the Microsoft store app, if you don't see moods option on the Xbox app it's because one of 2 reasons

1.- Game do not support moods

2.- Account used in the Xbox app it's a Child account
