Okay, I have had my xbox one x hacked ... so I went to chat with xbox live reps. This is what it said:

People waiting: 0 . I waited nearly 3 hours and no one answered. What is Microsoft doing while I am waiting for a response????

Contact customer service, dont have to call, their live chat is really good.

Seems to me that the best way to ban someone is simply take away their ability to communicate. No chat. No messages. No nothing. Should still be able to play online if you are paying for the service though. Now if they are cheating then, yeah. Ban them from the service completely.

Regarding your situation I am assuming that it was just unlucky that something went wrong, best is to try and set up a chat again.

Side note about the Chat service itself, availability is different per region and also the times when they are available is different per region.

Regarding the console, what exactly happened with your console, since as far as I know it's impossible for the console itself to be hacked, if you explain what happened, I or others maybe able to advise what to do regarding the situation.

 

No, this has happened repeatedly. As for the xbox one X, My games keep disappearing ... not just the saved data, but the entire game. They also get in and change game characters, turning male characters into females. They delete the saves. They even change
the button mapping on my controller. At first I thought it was a problem with my Xbox one S, so I replaced that with the X model ... because it was supposedly not able to be hacked. However, I seriously doubt that now. I figure you are like me and probably
just read that it was impossible and we all believed them. If you have absolute proof from an independent source, please send a link.

I don't know ... maybe I'll just go to PlayStation for a gaming console ... they claim that it is impossible to hack as well. Personally, I am tired of Microsoft's in-ability to secure my Xbox one as well as my account.

 

I would suggest checking your account details at https://account.microsoft.com it sounds like your security has been compromised. Have you shared your "My Home Xbox" at any point?

Change your password and add two stage verification.

 

I never shared my account, console (Or home console in settings.) I have changed password several times and added the two step verification several months ago. It is a private console which has only been used by me personally. But Thanks for the advice.

 

What time of day did you try to chat with them?

I've used that chat several times and it never made me wait more than 2 minutes inside their working hours.

Sounds like something went wrong with the live chat. You can request a call back via Xbox Support instead and a microsoft agent will phone you shortly after request.
Sounds like you need there help if you have secured your account already.

 

It's always a long wait too. They never solve the problem ... I usually go online and search for the answer myself. However, the non hack-able advertisement is just not true. I just bought a PS4 ... better graphics and so far no hackers. So once again,
I solved it myself.
