    Charged Wrongly For Promotion


    Xbox homescreen stated that xbox live is 50ZAR for 1 month on xbox 360 i purchased live and was charged 159ZAR back in may. I wanted to purchase it again today and it once again said 50ZAR on the homescreen and it still wants to charge at 159ZAR please help

    Thanks for the clarification. I do recall receiving 7 days premium from the FREEdom promotion. I just wrongly assumed the two promotions would be mutually exclusive.

    I was wrongly charged for xbox live?

    I haven't really played xbox in over six months. So, I wanted to cancel my membership.

    However, I got an email that my mom's credit card had expired and that they were unable to retain membership. I hadn't really used my xbox in a while so I assumed that the membership got cancelled. I had been getting these emails for months.

    Today, my mom asked me why she was paying for xbox live when I don't play it only to find out a different credit card I used before has been getting charged for over 7 months without me playing it!

    I'm not sure why Microsoft would automatically skip over to another next credit card without even asking. I feel like I was getting charged for over 6 months for not using my product at all! Is there any way I can get refunded my money?

    Wrongly charged by Xbox / EA

    Microsoft does not Region check it when Content is purchased from ingame stores instead of their own marketplace.

    i would suggest contacting Support on phone or Chat, if you can describe your Situation you could propably recieve a refund. just give it a try.

    I would guess that this charge is for a 1 month XBox Live subscription.

    Did you recently purchase Live under a discounted promotion? If so, all of those promotions will revert to a monthly ongoing charge at the end of the promotion period.

    14 DAY FREE TRIAL

    If you were charged 35 times for a free trial, something went very wrong. Contact Support right away and this should all be refunded to you. You can also go through your bank and file a dispute for the charges and let them know that you were not only charged
    wrongly, but charged multiple times. This can also be resolved on your banks end as they will file the dispute with Microsoft and Microsoft will, in turn, issue a refund as well.
