to provide some specific information:

• The hardware identification numbers from the Xbox console you use most often.
  • For the Xbox 360, we’ll need the
    Console ID and the Console Serial Number.
  • For the Xbox One, we’ll need the
    Device ID and the Console Serial Number.
• The Microsoft account email address for the account on which the unrecognised transactions were made, along with the dates when those purchases were made.
• An alternative phone number where we can reach you if necessary.
• An alternative email address where we can send you updates on your account.
  

It appears this is kind of what happened; My son, grown up and graduated and out the house now, tried the gamepass back in November when he visited and forgot about it. I didn't know about it because I wasn't knowingly charged until now. I look into my
microsoft account history and I also see a $1.00 charge for GamePass which lines up with what he says (I didn't see it until I expanded it to show "all orders"). So my apologies and thanks to all for the help. I guess I might as well try GamePass for the remainder
of the month. Thanks to all again.

Is it possible that you're game sharing with somebody else, and they used your account for a free trial of Game Pass but forgot to cancel it?

If you can go to this page, sign in, and check your orders over the last few months, are there any other unfamiliar purchases?

I am being charged for xbox game pass pc and xbox game pass console despite never signing up for the console version because I dont have one and never have.

If perhaps you've redeemed a trial version, it could have been on auto-renew.

Please follow the below steps to ensure your auto renew is turned off.

3. On the next page, select Cancel or Upgrade or Cancel, depending on your subscription type.
