Charged for QUBE 2 Games with Gold

I am a Xbox live customer, and my account is valid until march of next year. I went to download QUBE 2 because its on the games with gold and it appears I have been charged for it, I appealed for a refund after never opening the game and removing it from
my xbox. The refund was denied, I have tried calling but it cannot find a phone number for support.

That two-step confirmation would still give you time to confirm the price. This may well be hindsight, but always be sure the price shown is accurate before hitting A to accept the purchase the second time. If you see ANY deviation from what you
expect, back out of the purchase. If you press A, you accept the terms as presented, so protect yourself and be absolutely sure.

The issue is when the game opens up it shows as free, right above the link to enter password (I have 110 games in my library All digital except 1, many of them GWG) Once you sign with your password it decided to no longer be free and charged me full price
for a game that was and is currently free. I can send you a screenshot of my email order proving it was downloaded during the GWG timeline for this game. This a blatant issue of an error in the store and the fact i have to do all this work to correct goes
to show Microsoft's support is slipping seriously.

Did you notice if the price was shown when you confirmed the "purchase" ?

It should show "Free" when the Game With Gold promo is enabled.

What region are you in? If you wanted to contact Xbox Support in the USA, Canada and Puerto Rico, the number is
[Mod Removed].

Phone support agents cannot process refunds. If you have used the
refund request form and were denied, you can respond to the e-mail you received with the denial.

it did show free before signing in with my password, i entered my password and hit "A" twice, when doing this the fist one, entered the password, and the second time there was a delay and it purchased the game, the only reason i noticed the charge was because
i got an email with the confirmation.

Necroing the thread because I am in the same issue.

But to counter Randy's point, the MS website is terrible about context. It often displays that I am signed out when signed in and vice versa. I constantly worry I'll be charged for Gold games since it is not clear at all and is asking for my CC when getting
the free games (which now happened).

Of course, if MS cannot be trusted to correctly handling charging, I'm more than happy to go give my money to Sony, Nintendo, and the various publishers on PC.
