Charged for Pre-Order on another card

You may want to check the transactions of the card that was charged recently in the next 48–72 hours, as your pre-order was canceled. The money that appears as a charge on your card will be reversed, and you're going to get the money back.

In addition to that, I would like to confirm, did you not use this card to pay for content on another Microsoft account?

XBox pre-orders send an initial email when you pre-order, and then another when it charges about 2 weeks before release. It was confusing to me too at first, but double check your credit card statement to make sure.

When will I be charged for my pre-order? We do not charge your credit/debit card until your pre-order is despatched. Your credit/debit card must be valid until after the latest release date of any pre-order items.

If you pre-order with a credit card/Paypal you're not charged until within 10 days of the game's release. So until you've been charged, you can just cancel the pre-order and then pre-order the better version.
