Charged for movie rental which instantly expired

Hi i have just purchased a movie Thor 2:The dark world for 99p but when i went to watch it a few moments later it said it said it had Expired and i have still been charged. Help or a refund please.

Movie Expired Instantly

I purchased Gran Torino on an Xbox One about ten minutes ago, and it expired before I could even see the play button appear. So, in other words, I spent a little over $4, not including tax, on a movie that was immediately taken away from me.

I already posted this, but I accidentally put it in the 360 forum, instead of the Xbox One forum.

xbox video rental expired instantly

Just rented a movie on xbox video and as the subject title says it expired the second i pressed play. What's going on with that? What's the fix?

Yay .. back in business.. lucky I was looking for a refund on both movies and rentals ...yep app is working for me as well finally.. only missing some rentals that probably expired by now .. hmmm!.. but yeah...

I am not sure Xbox would do a refund for a movie especially if it had been watched. Maybe revert the charge to a rental?

I'm pretty sure it was advertised as a PG rated version of Deadpool not as an entirely different movie.

If you're planning on renting movies through Xbox Video, here is the explanation from the Xbox Support FAQ on how movie rentals work:

Renting movies

When you rent a movie through Xbox Video, it's available to you for 14 days. This 14-day countdown starts when you make the purchase. When you start playing the movie, another clock starts ticking: you have a 24-hour period of time during which you can watch
the movie as many times as you want.

Let's say you rent a movie at 3:00 P.M. on May 1. If you start watching the movie at 8:00 P.M. on May 5, your rental period expires at 8:00 P.M. on May 6.

Note Unlike a movie that you buy, a movie that you rent must be viewed on the device it was rented for (Xbox 360, computer, Windows Phone 7.

Also getting this error code on xb1. I currently have an xbox video rental, "The Interview", That I cannot finish because of this issue, and the rental is about to expire in a few hours. :\ I tried video.xbox.com to complete the movie on a laptop, and the
website just keeps refreshing on loading the video collection. Still no luck so far.
