    I got charged today along with the hacking and i almost got an overdraft fee. I'm not sure if I can trust Microsoft with my account credit card info now. There is nothing about this charge on my email or my live transaction history. I want my money back
    and I want to speak to a representative immediately about this breach of trust.

    Do Xbox games on demand charge tax?

    I just bought a few games on Xbox Live for $77 multiple games at different prices and I just checked my account didn't charge me tax at all and I live in Maryland

    A mix of Credit Card and online gift cards. The Xbox Live marketplace is weird for me, it charges me tax when using a credit card directly, but doesn't charge me any tax when using my Microsoft account balance. So usually what I tend to do is always makes sure I have something in my account balance so when I use my credit card, it only subtracts what was left over after taking from the account, and this never includes tax.

    It is turned off but my account was still charged via paypal, and my live subscription was the only thing I used paypal for.

    it may be an xbox live error, check that the charge was made to your microsoft account from a pc on my payments and billings, if the charge was made contact via chat with customer service they will guide you

    Its a fraudulent charge. Xbox live does not charge on an account in that format. usually says for me $9.99 - MICROSOFT XBOX LIVE. my girlfriend just got hit by this fake xbox live charge and she doesnt even own an xbox. since this post was so long ago, i
    would either

    a. check with microsoft.

    or

    b. check with your bank and let them know not to allow this again.
