Character gone. Game progress gone.

my son and I were playing together on the same network. We both decided to take a quick break. i logged out and left the game on. I came back to the game like 10 minutes later and it was in the process of starting a new game. I picked up the controller and
stopped it and went to load up my game to continue up playing and my game character was gone and the only option I had was to start anew game. When I want to tell my son. He just left the game on. He said while he was logged out that he saw the screen go black
and start a new game. He alsowentto go load his character and behold his character was gone too. Is this some glitch? I was level 13 and my son level 11. I am not going to freak out about losing my progress being I wasn't that far but I did do a lot to get
where I was out. I just want to make sure whatever happened doesn't happen again or I will not play it anymore. can anyone explain what happened?

Achievement progress gone?! Why!?

It's up to the developers to support this feature. So not all games will show progress towards an achievement being earned.

I remember snapping the achievements and there would be a progress bar undereath it to tell me how close i was to getting it. None of my achievements are doing this anymore yet my friends say theirs are?!

None of us are in the programme.

 

This game is crap. Just before I was going to continue my new game which I only got to level 4. I left it on the load screen where you load your character and I went to write this post. When I was done I went to the game and the game did it again. The character
is gone and its sayin new game. wtf. So I got to assume that if you leave it on the load screen that it will erase the game. I will try just making up another character and see by leaving the game on the load screen that it erase the game. I will update in
a few.

 

I have never heard of this happening. Is this game a Downloaded version of the game or is it a hard disk.

 

Yeah, that's weird. First I've heard of this happening to people. Sorry you're having problems with it.

 

It is the downloaded version.. Well it hasn't happened again but I also don't leave it on the character selection screen so I am not going to take the chance being I really like the game.
