Changing Your Gamertag For The Second Time.

I've been thinking about changing my gamertag for awhile and decided to finally change it, I've done it once already. After pressing the button to change it, it says: "Are you sure you want to change your gamertag? If you change it, you'll not be able to do it again".

The question is, I will really not be able to change it again, or a fee would be applied to repeat it, like it happened to other users who've already experienced a gamertag change?

if it's over 12 characters then you can't change to it.

Hi yesterday my child changed my original gamertag that’s 13 years old, didn’t ask for my passcode for protection I’m guessing because it was free, I’m desperate to get back the original, every time I input it it says not allowed any idea how I can retrieve it thanks

You're allowed to change your Xbox gamertag once for free. If you're trying to change your gamertag for a second time, You'll have to pay for the gamertag change.
