    Changing xbox 360 account


    Im recently divorced and my sons account is linked to my ex's account. She will not give me the password to remove or change it. My son does have another microsoft account that she will chnge ot to of I give ot to her. How can she switch it so it will now
    be under his account and after it is switched we want both accounts to remain seperate so she can still use hers for other things and his will be only used by him.

    Changing xbox 360 account

    If your son's account is registered as a child account under your ex's adult account, she will need to

    release your son's account from her "family".

    If you wish to add your son's account to your own "family", you can do so with the

    steps described here.

    If you're on a child account, you will have to make the purchase on a 360 console. Changing the age of your Microsoft account does not change the age of your Xbox account. That cannot be changed.

    My son said he logged on and went to My Account, then Security Family and Forums, and Xbox 360 settings, but Xbox won't let him to change the settings. Xbox said like this:"You want to change your privacy and online safety settings, but you’re unable to
    make the changes."

    Then i tried to log on with my account (Parental Account). Then i went to My Account, Security Family and Forums, Xbox 360 Settings for my son's account, and i have changed his Xbox 360 settings, then i clicked on "Save" button. But when i check his Xbox
    360 Settings, the settings i made was gone, and the settings turned back just like before i change. I tried 5 times but it still the same. And my son still can't accept any friend request.
