More button mapping capabilities

I play F12019 and use the clubsport V2 wheel but cannot button map the wheel to the game because MS hasn't allowed it yet.

MS please update the console to allow for more button mapping then the code masters for F1 can make it happen

Like I said before I enjoy using my wheel but it was more of a rant that I wanted to upgrade my wheel to one with more buttons to make it a little easier and a better experience but cannot because xbox limit the amount of buttons you can map to them.

If you look at the button mapping for xbox on that wheel the amount of duel mapping is laughable, it should a simple solution to allow all the buttons to be mapped for full use not having 4 buttons mapped to A because the poor OS doesn't allow anything else

Map button is not on the d-pad. To see the map you click the menu button that shows the big wheel with all the choices like character screen and inventory. The one in the center is quest map and it shows your map.

Yes it's a shame we can't map all the extra buttons we get on a racing wheel when using it on consoles. I think the reason for this is due to the xbox controller only having a certain number of buttons hence why you can't map any of the extra buttons as
there are only so many axis/button inputs that will be recognised between controller and console.

There are games that allow you to use a keyboard that can be used as a 'Button Box' mod so you can map more buttons to functions (racing simulation games like Project CARS 2 offers plenty of options for button mapping and controller customization). I do realise
this is not the same as being able to map the extra buttons on a racing wheel but is still handy for this very reason. Here is an example of one clever way to map extra buttons without using a full qwerty keyboard:

Hopefully there will be some updates and changes to how we can have our racing wheels recognised by the console and be able to map all the buttons properly. Until then, the link to the example I posted above might be a temporary solution to the button mapping
issue.
