You can change the email address of the account if you know the password by first removing the security information from it, such as the phone number to which you no longer have access, just keep in mind that this process lasts 30 days before the change takes effect (for security reasons) and there is no way to speed up this process.

If you don't have access to the phone number or alternate email, choose "I don't have either" when prompted for the verification code and follow the instructions to change your security information. You'll see your security info under Security settings. Choose Remove for any you want to remove. You may be asked to add new security info before you can remove the old info.

To play on your PC profile, you need to add your father's account that has a Windows subscription, follow the instructions below.

Go to the windows settings, select the option accounts, click on email and accounts, click on add a Microsoft account, in which case the account to be added must belong to the person who has signed the game pass.

Now go to the Microsoft Store and log in with the account that has the game pass in it, which in this case is your parent's account. Go to the Xbox app, and log in with your account.

Checking that Xbox Family link has reaffirmed the same issue I have had for several years. My account is still considered a child account as it is linked to my father’s Xbox 360 era account.

He lost access to the email attached to the parent account and lost the password years ago. He has also unfortunately since passed away.

As a result, I am unable to access his account and remove my child account status. Is there any other route I can go down in solving this issue?
