Sorry, I should've worded this better. My original email associated with the account is fine. But they changed the email associated with the Minecraft account.

Technically transfers cannot be do but you can change the email address associated with a microsoft account.

In order to associate the gamertag with another account you will need to create a whole account with an email address and then do the following to associate the gamertag to that account. How

I have a similar situation but won't to know why we would have to input a new email that is not associated with any other Microsoft accounts? Reason for asking is the only reason I want to change my Xbox Live account is so that I can use the email that
is associated with my Windows 8 account. Otherwise I can't use the "games" app

Yes, here are the steps:

-log into account.live.com

-look for a blue link that says add/change alias

-input a new email that is not associated with any other Microsoft accounts.

-once the email is put in, make it the primary email.

-after 48 hours, log back in and remove the old email.
