Changing the colour of the guide, menus and UI in future?

While I know the interface of the guide will remain the same from Xbox One over to Xbox Series X, how would you feel if we had the option to change the colour of the UI in a future update? For me it's on Dark mode, and after a while it just feels depressingly
boring.

So what I aim to discuss here is about the colour of the guide, menus and the like, from the Light or Dark modes. I feel it would add loads more life to the whole interface, as well as adding the freedom beyond two themes. Granted, there are possible issues
- one being that it could blind you at night, the other how you'd know what you're highlighting (though the latter could just be a darker/brighter variant of the chosen colour). But overall, if the guide's general design is to remain the same, the freedom
of choice here would probably be cool.

From memory, some people have said they'd like to have seen a new design of sorts (the experience of seeing a new UI), so maybe this could help that.

What do you think? Could it be a good idea, or is it pointless?
