    Pre download Xbox Series X games

    Not really...

    Xbox Series X games / upgrades / updates has to be installed onto the Series X internal or expansion card SSD,

    You can have Xbox One games on your external hard drive that will get an Series X upgrade but the games will need to be transferred to the Series X and then the Series X upgrade will need to be downloaded onto the Series X SSD,

    As an example...

    I have Marvel Avengers on my external hard drive that will get the Series X upgrade and I will transfer the game over to the Series X SSD ready to download and update the game to the Series X version when available.

    Xbox one be obsolete after series x

    Due to how Microsoft is going into this next generation Xbox Series X games will also be released on Xbox One, as to not leave anyone who can't upgrade right away behind.

    On the flip side to this however any game that comes to Xbox One before coming to Series X will get you a free Series X upgrade with Xbox Smart Delivery. (so long as Developers & Publishers choose to take advantage of it)

    I have my current Xbox One X connected to a 4k monitor, ALthough it does not have HDR so I might upgrade before the Series X comes out.

    I turn my xbox off, but when i turn it on the next day it always starts up like i reset it. Tried power off for 10 secs, checked cable too.

    To be fair it was an old console, in the end I decided to upgrade to a series x, but thank you for the help as it did help the Xbox not always restart constantly for the final few times I used it before upgrading.

    The most important feature Microsoft missed with the Series X

    I am really looking forward to this series X, i am still running on an original Xbox One myself, i was looking to upgrade to a new system myself and then right before i was going to make the purchase they announced the series x, Decided it was worth it
