    Hello!

    So I originally had a singapore xbox live account. I was also a member of xbox live rewards (myVIP) which was also set to Singapore.

    Ive moved out of Singapore recently and I am making purchases now on the US xbox store which ofcourse does not give me any reward points to my Singapore account.

    So, as instructed in the FAQ (Xbox Live Rewards), I opted out of the rewards program, and then applied to switch my xbox live account to United States a couple of days ago. This has been successful
    and my xbox live account is now United States set.

    Now after this, I register and sign back in again to the rewards program, but it still says my region is Singapore.

    What should I do? Do I need to opt back out, wait a few days and sign back in again? Or am I missing a step?

    Oh right on, if I understood correctly everything is working as expected now? Season Passes can tend to behave a little differently depending on the game. Keep us posted if this is working for you or not so we can help narrow this down further.

    We see that we are recognizing your Microsoft Account region as US. However, your account has not been fully set up yet. Once your join by date shows a recent date and not "???", then your account has been set up. We do not see any visible issues with you
    creating a US Rewards Account once the process is completed.

    hi miss kleo,

    i was hoping someone could help me or would know of someone that could help me change regions.

    the xboxlive website still says with the same problem:

    "There’s a problem completing your move right now. Please check the Region Change Support Page to make sure it will work for you, and try again later."

    i have posted before on my own thread on the forum and got no responds. i was told by a supervisor that the forum does not have to post all questions. i am still waiting patiently after three months :(

    I am having the same problem. I am at Brazil and my account its from Brazil. Please help.
    You need to change your region so that Xbox Live works. You have to go to your microsoft account and go into the settings to change your region and then remove and then add your account to your console. Check the list of regions where xbox live works and select a region that is part of this list.

    The IR Blaster is for use with the remote for your cable service. A controller will not work for that.
